The Implant Process, Without the Guesswork
A Carefully Planned Process, Coordinated Under One Roof
Dental implants are not a single appointment; they are a multi-step treatment that unfolds according to your individual anatomy, oral health, and goals. Because every patient is different, no two treatment timelines look exactly alike, and that is exactly how it should be.
Some patients move through the process with little preparatory work, while others benefit from added steps such as bone grafting to build a stronger foundation. Whatever your path, Dr. Amogh Velangi and Dr. Rozbeh Hossieni at ProMax Implants & Oral Surgery coordinate every phase in-house, giving you a clear, connected experience from your first visit to your final smile.

Dr. Velangi was amazing from start to finish. They were able to get me in for an appointment much sooner than I expected, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. My surgery went very well, and I especially want to recognize Christian, Dr. Velangi's assistant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate, and he made sure I felt informed and at ease throughout the entire experience. I truly appreciate the outstanding care I received from everyone at ProSmile Implant Center. I highly recommend them to anyone considering dental implants or oral surgery. I’m from New Jersey and was looking for a New Dentist in Scottsdale. I have a full set of implants on the whole top of my mouth. The front six teeth have become a little loose so I was looking for a doctor to try to bang them out and re-glue them. The type of implant I have are glued in went to four different doctors each one of them wanted to cut out the iBridge and make a complete new one…. The price I got were between 18,000 down to 12,000 and then maybe some additional implant work they were ensure…. I decided to go for one more consult with pro smile when I got there I told the dentist I wasn’t interested in having another bridge done the only reason I was there is I wanted him to see if he could take the bridge out since it was loose and we glow it if he couldn’t do that, I wasn’t interested in anything else after he checked out my teeth. He explains me that he thinks the screw is loose and if he could tighten the screw, the bridge wouldn’t have to come out if he couldn’t tighten the screw then he would have to make a new bridge so I asked him what is a ballpark figure for New bridge and he said somewhere around 7000. I looked at him and said you got the job pro smile is honest not looking to take advantage of you and I would highly recommend going to their office, Love pro smile.!!!!!PS… The estimate came in under 7000!!!Posted on Google Glorie Jo LimJuly 3, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My 13 year old daughter had an oral surgery where she had to go under anesthesia and they worked well with her and made her very comfortable. The anesthesiologist was great in explaining everything to her and the doctors & office staff were fantastic!Posted on Google Judi ZalimasJuly 2, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just moved here and found myself in need of assistance from some discomfort. From the moment I called I was greeted with I think her name was Kim and she sounded like a concerned friend and got me right in. Dr Mehta immediately determined my needs. Even after three weeks I came back in without hesitation he adjusted my bite with amazing care and professionalism. Coming from someone who completely dislikes the dentist it is a big deal for me to say that my experience with Dr Mehta and his office has been easy, comfortable and would trust them for the rest of my dental procedures and maintenance.Posted on Google Roxann BrownJune 29, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got my all on 4 implants done here and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. They explained what was happening at every step which made it so much less scary than I thought it would be. I actually want to smile in pictures now which says a lot.Posted on Google CharleenJune 28, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What to Expect from the Implant Procedure
Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation that includes advanced 3D CBCT imaging and a complete evaluation of your oral health.
Using this detailed information, Dr. Velangi and Dr. Hossieni map the precise position, angle, and depth of each implant before any surgery. This careful planning allows us to anticipate potential challenges in advance and provides you with a clear understanding of your treatment from the very beginning.
If your evaluation shows that preparatory care is needed, such as an extraction, bone graft, or gum treatment, we complete that first so your mouth is fully ready. Once you are cleared, your implants are placed using precise, guided surgical techniques.
Sedation and anesthesia options keep you comfortable throughout, and qualifying patients may receive a temporary restoration on the same day.
After placement, your implants enter a healing period called osseointegration, during which they gradually fuse with your jawbone to form a permanent, stable foundation.
This phase is essential to long-term success. We schedule follow-up visits to monitor your healing, check the health of your gums, and make any needed adjustments along the way.
Once your implants have fully integrated, your permanent restoration is designed and placed. Whether you receive a single crown, an implant-supported bridge, or a full-arch restoration, it is custom-crafted to fit your bite, complement your features, and function reliably for years to come.
Why Scottsdale & Phoenix Patients Choose Us for Implant Treatment
At ProMax Implants & Oral Surgery, your entire implant journey, from imaging and surgery to your final restoration, is completed in-house by one experienced team. Your care is never passed between unfamiliar providers.
Dr. Velangi and Dr. Hossieni bring advanced surgical training and experience across a wide range of cases, including complex situations involving significant bone loss, gum disease, and failed implants placed elsewhere. Combined with precision technology, in-house anesthesia, and a patient-first approach, this means you can feel informed and confident at every step.
Factors That Can Affect Your Implant Timeline
Overall Health and Medical History
Conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune disorders may require medical clearance before surgery. Bringing them under control first supports safe, healthy healing.
Current Medications
Some medications affect bone healing or immune response. We review your full medication list and coordinate with your physician if any adjustments are needed before treatment.
Need for Preparatory Procedures
When bone grafting, a sinus lift, or gum treatment is needed first, your timeline extends to allow proper healing. These steps protect the long-term success of your implants.
Tobacco Use and Lifestyle Habits
Smoking and heavy alcohol use slow healing and raise the risk of implant failure. We discuss these openly and may recommend cutting back before and during treatment.
Jawbone Density and Volume
Limited bone may call for grafting before placement. Your 3D scan gives us a precise view of your bone structure and what it can support.
Gum Health
Active gum disease must be treated before implants are placed, since healthy tissue is essential to stable, lasting integration.
Individual Healing Rate
Every patient heals at their own pace. We monitor your progress at each visit and move to the next phase only when you are truly ready.
